Navy to discharge lesbians

Long Beach, Ca. (IGNA) The Navy is moving to discharge eight women crew members of the missile test ship Norton Sound for homosexual conduct.

"Of course we will file a com plaint, and we may end up going to court." said Susan McGrievy. an ACLU lawyer who is representing the women. "They can't be discharged for homosexuality." -McGrievy said that a U.S. District Court decision in Wisconsin directed the Army to reinstate a woman who had been discharged for being a lesbian because the Army could not
